Ok...what is Paleo. The short and simple answer is "the caveman diet". Paleo is short for paleolithic. The definition of Paleolithic is; of or pertaining to the characteristics and cultures of the Pliocene and Pleistocene epochs and early phase of the Stone Age, hence the other name "Stone Age diet".
"Well, what can I eat" you ask. It will be easier to tell you what you can't eat. No grains, dairy, or legumes. No sugar, no alcohol...no fun...LOL. Honestly, I'm not sure if anyone is 100% paleo. I know I'm not. But for 30 days I will be 100% paleo. Let's all give it a whirl. What have you got to lose? Maybe some weight! Even though it is not a "weight loss" diet, many who go paleo lose weight. I have adopted the lifestyle because it is the best possible fuel and the most nutritiously dense food on the planet. I'm concerned with being as fit as possible and Paleo gives me the best chance.
